ShoutOutz!!
Alright... as the title of this page suggested, this is a page for
me to express whatever I have to say to whoever I wanna... People appeared
on this page definitely play a fair part, if not significant, in my life
so far... They would be quite close to me, while some are those who brought
me some unique memory related to themselves which I still find it amusing.
This page is sorted according to 'where I met you first': Kindy and
Primary School,
St. Paul's Secondary, High Schools in Sydney, University of New South Wales, Net
Friends and Others.
If you can be included in more than one group, you will be grouped under
the earliest group (ie. the group with timing which is the furthest away from now)
Here we go: (Names are deliberately sorted in a random
pattern)
Kindy and Primary School
Edith and Tricia Ho |
Do you still remember how much fun we had back when we were in
primary school? Went to the park around our place and played with the
chickens? And all the beef congee, 007 games we played when we travelled to
and from school in Mrs. Chan's 'escort'? I kinda feel guilty when back in
primary school and after you left for Canada, whenever you write to me, I
didn't reply straight away. Oh well... at least I've taken up the habit to
write, just remember to write to me whenever you are free from your study la!!
Friendship Forever!! |
Grace Chui |
You are definitely one of the friends I've known for the longest!! In fact,
I think you are the only kindergarten friend that I'm currently still in touch
with!! We both have changed a lot la... nevertheless, we still seem to be
quite innocent la!! Hehe... Even though we have spent a fairly long period out
of contact, I'm really happy that you allow me to continue to be one of your
close friends and tell me so much about your personal things that have been
happening to you!! I'll always be here for you ga!! If I shall die in when I'm age x, may our friendship
would have gone for (x-2) years then!! =) |
Wing Yu, Chan |
I still remember you as a very lively happy girl with a smile on your face
everytime I see you. I especially remember the 'jumping star flowers' we made
up during our arts lessons. Pity I don't have a clue where and how you have
been since you left... =( |
Brian Ng |
How have you been ar? Knowing you from primary school to
secondary school, you were probably one of my closest friends then. Haven't
seen you for a long time la... hope to see you soon la... I have a feeling
that by the time we meet again, we'll both have graduated from university... |
Gary Tong |
Remember how you are the only person which go all the way with
me in the same classes from primary 1 to form 4?? I've actually worked out the
probability of that!! It's one on 562500 la!! A pretty small number, eh? |
Christine Kam |
I still remember that you were a newbie at St. Paul's Primary in
the 2nd year. I have a fair bit of fond memories about you and I guess I won't
list them all here since I've written them all in your autobiography booklet
before I left for HK la... I guess we have been close when I was in HK, but
probably a lot more closer after I left as we started writing letters to each
other. I guess we don't keep too many secrets away from each other la!! =) I'm
glad that we end up as very good friends!! Friendship forever!! All the best!!
=) |
Peter Hui |
I still remember on the eve of the day I left for HK, I spent a
record long time on the fone with you cos you were probably one of the closest
friends with me then. (Well... the record has been broken since...) It
actually quite hurts me when I read the message you wrote on my autobiography,
saying, "Only friends leave you, you never leave a friend." It's
kinda true when you take the meaning the physical way, afterall, you have
always been in HK. However, the way how I read it is leaving as in drifting
away from the friendship... and seems like they have happened between us lor,
sadly... you don't write to me anymore even I kept on writing to you. I
thought you were just too busy... but when you don't write to me after 3 years
of continuous writing from me, I just felt disappointed... very
disappointed... =( |
Candy So |
Halo, Tong Tong!! I still remember your long pony tails which I
loved to play with like a toilet flush!! It's cool fun!! And how we used to
compare our height la!! Hehe... Keep in touch ar!! |
Cynthia Chan |
I truly consider meeting up with you after 9/10 years of out of
contact one of the most amazing things that happened to me so far. I gotta say
ICQ does do wonders and I guess that was the way how we got to know each other
a lot better (from nothing to a fair bit) before you came to Sydney in Sep
1999. I still remember the days I went out with you la... they are most
definitely very enjoyable. We actually got along pretty well, not much problem
finding a common topic to talk about, you got to meet up with my friends too!!
I hope you like that trip la... and of course my friends and I too la!! Pity
my stay in Melbourne earlier this year didn't allow me long enough time to
meet up with you for long la... but it's great that you spent some of your
precious time with us la!! Keep in contact ar!! =) |
Winson Chang |
Still remember that you were a newbie in primary 4... and I knew
you thru Mrs. Chan's 'escort'. We had quite a fair bit of fun daily la... but
then come to think of it, it's pretty funny that we had arguments, we 'cut off
the friendship'... that seems so stupid when I think of it now!! =) |
Roy Lau |
I still remember you as the 'fat ball' ga!! I guess I probably
have a ball just as fat as yours now... |
St. Paul's Secondary
Albert Chong |
Hey, where have you been ar? Haven't heard from you since you
left!! It would be really nice if we do get to meet up again in the future and
play some basketball or go for a swim la!! |
Rebecca Yuen |
I didn't notice how pretty you are until years after I arrive in
Sydney la!! Hehe... Anyway, if you need help from over Melbourne, don't hesitate
to contact me la!! |
Joanna Lee |
Sorry that I haven't been writing to you for a long while...
I'm very happy to see that even thought we were together in real life for only
3 months or so, but we seem to get along very well la... still remember the
chinese presentation we made together? I was crap, especially with my broken
arm, yet you still said I did well la!! =) I guess it wasn't until I left
Sydney that we got closer... I just hate work when it is in the way when I
wanna keep good contacts with my friends... I'll write to you soon... hope to
see you soon... keep in touch!! |
Vivian Fung |
I still remember how much you like kittens!! In fact, I still
have the photos of your kitten that you sent me years ago!! Dunno how you have
been lately though... |
Yvonne Chan |
Nei hoi ma? Guess we mixed around alright when we were in HK
la... but we sorta lost contact as times goes by... I don't receive anything
from you anymore!! =( Oh well... at the time of writing, I'm using the glass
you gave me for my 14th birthday present la!! This glass will make you
remember you forever la!! |
Mimi Mo |
Ah mui ar!! I really really really really really really miss you
ar!! You are probably the person whom I'd like to meet up the most!! I so
wanna go up to London right now to meet up with you!! We haven't seen each
other for almost 5 years la!! I still feel that our friendship is quite strong
though, dunno if you feel the same... Spare a thought for me once in a while
la!! Muah!! |
Frankie Lam |
Nau nau ar!! Moww... How's your computing going ar? I have
always believed that you'll become very successful over the computing field
la!! Don't prove me wrong ar!! |
Anthony Poon |
At first I found you kinda strange, but as time goes on, I sorta
learnt how to be around you... don't know what you are like these days, but
from the way how we are chatting on ICQ, I sense your personality changed a
bit... wonder if we'll get to see each other again. |
Edmund Ma |
Ma Cia!! What happened to the letters you said you are going to
write to me ar?? I suddenly realise that my mental 'file' of you is quite
outdated!! Keep me informed la!! |
Ken To |
Piggy!! Hehe... you were still the same piggy you were when
meeting up with you and the others 2 years ago!! Hehe... How have you been
lately? Keep me up-to-date la!! |
Regina Lo |
GarfieldGina, when I think of you, I usually link it with the
wrong doing I did back in form 2... that was the first apology letter I ever
wrote to anyone la!! But then you were forgiving, and we are still good
friends!! Are you still the talkative person you were? Oi... by the way,
thanx for the paper flowers you and others made as I left HK la!! Looking
forward to seeing you again!! Keep in contact!! |
Giuseppe Mak |
Haven't been hearing from you for a little while, nei hoi ma? I
still remember how much fun we share through scouts activities... going to
camping and hiking at stormy weathers, making our own bread and biscuit
through woodfire, trying to crack every single kinda code given in order to
complete our missions given and so on... you have always been a very nice
person to me, keep it up!! |
Merrick Chung |
Halo, you music man, how have you been ar? I still remember as
the leader of the St. Paul's music la!! Hehe... my singing has improved a lot
since I left la... one day I'll challenge you ga... be ready la!! |
Kathy Chung |
It's great that we are still in touch and you still send me lots
of photo and tell me so many things about all those adventures you had all
over the world. One thing that I especially remember about you is how good
your mandarin is la... you were always one of the tops in this subject. And
you are always such a lively person too!! |
Sindy Yeung |
Hmm... It's great to be in touch with you again
after losing contact for years. As part of the class committees, I could see
that you were a very dedicated person la... I'll never forget you as the 'Yeung
secretary' |
Melissa She |
How have you been ar, Melissa? I'm happy that we still write to
each other once in a while la!! Hope you are enjoying your uni life!! |
Lisa Chau |
Haven't heard from you for a while... I guess that's probably
because I still haven't replied your letter yet... opps... anyway, hope you
are doing well with med over Melbourne. I still have your decoration present
you gave me as I left ar!! |
Fiona Keung |
Miss Keung, I miss you and your letters ar!! Guess you must have
been very busy since you got married and have no time for me... =( Spare a
thought of me once in a while la!! Wishing you all the best with your study
and marriage... When are you going to have kids ar?? Hehe... |
Richard Fung |
First of all, thanx for doing lots of things for me over HK when
I was settling down in Sydney. How have you been ar? Haven't heard from you
for a fair while, good luck with your study la!! And remember ar, if you'd
ever need help, you are always welcome to come to me ga!! |
Polly Tse |
Halo!! Do you still sing these days? I've sorta lost contact
with you la... what have you been up to ar? Write to me when you are free la!! |
Judy Wu |
I guess back when I was in HK, I didn't talk to you too much,
yet as mentioned to you in my letter before, I had this happy image of you
la!! I'm very surprised that we got along so well since then. Probably that's
because you write to me so often!! =) If you want someone to talk to or to
share your problems, I'll always be here la!! |
Sannie Cheung |
How have you been ar? Haven't heard from you for a while... miss
your letters ar!! Anyway, thanx for the bottle of stars that I received as I
left HK la!! I still treasure it a lot!! Write to me when you have time la!! |
Joanna Fung |
We left HK at almost the same time la!! Didn't expect that we'll
meet up again at UNSW... and you are a year above me too!! I'll see you
around!! =) |

High Schools in Sydney (Epping Boys' High and James Ruse AHS)
Michael Looi |
One of the funniest guys I've ever known. Enjoy
the time you share your music compositions with me. |
Matthew Wong |
Haven't heard from you for a fair while... anyway, thanx for
being my pianist for a few of my singing performance |
Sunny Yoo |
Sunny, you have been a very nice person, even though I don't
know you well, I can still feel your warmth and care. |
Wilfred Tung |
All the train trip and the card game and your 1 hour losing
streak!! To me you are a freak, always do really well... but always in a very
stressed out mode... |
Gregory Cheung |
Macq actuary... guess you are doing VERY well
now... and I think pretty popular as well!! All the best!! |
Justin Kim |
jffk!! Remember playing basketball with you as
part of the 'Hookers' |
Isaac Wong |
Closest friend from Epping Boys High, marvellous
musician with a sense of humour... you was the one who made my stay in Epping
Boys a pleasant one. |
Grace Cheung |
One of the girls that I met up the earliest in
Sydney, very cheerful and talkative!! Hehe... |
Kanice Chan |
First met you in school choir, very smart and has a really nice
voice which you 'use' very often... hehe... |
Kitty Ho |
Mui, one of the smartest I've ever known, but
more importantly, you are one of the closests of the closests. Gor will always
be thinking of you and is extremely willing to lend a hand if necessary... |
Isaacs Mitchell |
Cheesy, good to be performing with you in La
Perichole as well as competing together in the school swimming team!! You have
been very friendly to me!! Thanx. |
Jenny Lam |
Still remember how we first met and chatted, I
reckon you have a pretty unique way of thinking, and always speak out whatever
you have in mind. Yet, to me, you are still sorta a mystery, don't see you
around much besides during lectures or tuts... Thanx for your care to me
though. |
Yasantha Wijeratne |
One of the guys which I've known for the longest,
entered Epping Boys together in Year 10 and went to Ruse together in year 11.
Great to know you and get to chat with you at roll call every single day back
in Epping, and glad that we have developed a fairly close friendship over the
years. |
Khang Hoang |
You are like the leader of the newbie groups to
me, every one of our newbie looks up to you!! Hehe... you seem to be too smart
to do much study all the time!! |
Min-Chun Ryu |
I think you are a real-life sample of creating
happiness out of your own personal suffering expenses. Hehe... there's always
something to laugh about when being around you. I'm glad that I've seen your deeper
side though. |
Linus Kong |
Fellow actuary, as well as chess player back in Ruse. I remember
the first game I had with you was a draw (played in the old library), but you
complained that I took too much time to think. hehe... |
Minh Vu |
Great fun to be with you during the ag classes...
you are fun to be teased as well!! Hehe... remember how much effort you'd ever
put in for ag... got told off by Mr. Grant once. |
Cecilia (Soo Jin) Kim |
One of the sweetest girls I've known, always so calm and polite
and happy as well!! I'm really glad that I know a person like you!! |
Gladys Ho |
Super smart in maths and science. Quite a unique voice, always
laughing... I remember being in the same group as you during O week in late
year 10 when I was still in Epping. |
Loretta Hsieh |
Definitely one of the prettiest girls... tends to be quite cool
from the outside, but I'm glad that I got to know you a little bit better
through ICQ. A caring friend... |
Amanda Wong |
Probably one of the girls which I chat on the phone most often,
one of the VERY closests, as well as most beautiful. Thank you for sharing so
much of your personal thoughts with me, I'll always be there to listen... And
thank you for being there when I need help. |
Audrey Ng |
Probably will be very rich soon... got to know you mostly
through train rides and a bit of letter writing... tend to weigh yourself just
a little bit more than others, but otherwise, very cool. |
Ada Lui |
Impression: VERY talkative and pretty loud!! But also ultra
smart and look cheerful most of the time... other time, likes to complain
about study/lecturers... hehe... |
Eshley Kwok |
The one whom I chat on the phone with the MOST frequent back in
HS, never thought that an 8-hour long phone chat was possible, but we managed
to prove it wrong!! Hehe... don't see you all that much these days, but the
friendship bond's still there. |
Li-Anne Chin |
Met you at school choir, as well as Jazz Ensemble, very
well-mannered girl, warm and caring |
Jen Chow |
Really good at debating, and making comments in classes. Look
cheerful from the outside, but may not really be so inside. |
Min-Qi Lee |
Met in school choir as well... Always remember the time the
swimming carnival was cancelled due to heavy rain and you and your mum offered
me the lift back to the station |
Dennis Teoh |
Fellow actuary, always seems so tired, dislike walking around as
it requires too much effort!! |
Rajat Mittal |
Has an interest over others' life, just like me... hehe... I'll
never forget the special line you said at Bathurst excursion. |
Stephen Farrar |
Super genius, very talented in music as well as maths/science.
Like his 'thank you for coming to 21st' notice, he likes doing things a very
unique and special way!! Keep it up!! |
Helen Do |
Remember I used to sit with you in every single economic class
and whenever I dunno how to answer a question, you'll give me hints secretly.
Don't see you or hear from you all that much these days... sorta a
disappointment for me. |
Sylvia Lour |
Hello, little swan!! Got to know you well only after uni
started. Remember the times when we chatted on ICQ so often, then we started
letter-writing. I guess both of us are getting busy these days, so not much
time on that. Nevertheless, to me, you are always the beautiful swan I know
who will always be in my heart. |
James Shen |
Fellow 'Hooker's member!! Your hook shot is invincible!! Anyway,
it's great to know you man, a very caring person who never gives up. I surely
remember all the stupid things we did back in Ag in Mr. Grant's class. All the
best to you in the future!! Keep in touch!! |
Guarav Sodhi |
Hey, Guarav, where have you gone? Don't see you at all these
days!! Too busy getting girls' attention? Hehe... I'll always remember you as
someone who's really good at English, making poems... and sexy... haha... |
Berivan Yilmaz |
Haven't seen you much at all since we left Ruse. Wonder how you
are going. Will remember you as a really sweet and refined girl always!! |
Ankush Kaul |
Probably the most successful newbie guys from Ruse out of all!!
The quickest to find a job and get a car and so on!! Besides that, we went to
Epping Boys together as well!! Dude, you are so cool man!! Wish I can be just
as cool and humourous as you!! |
Michelle Brotoshusodo |
Hmm... haven't chatted with you for a while, Mich!! I remember
you told me once that you didn't like me much back in Ruse, but then later on,
your impression on me changed completely!! I'm glad that this change happened,
and I'll always treasure the times when you tell me all about your personal
matters. |
Nai Ying Kuo |
Hmm... the most memorable incident of you for me would be at Ag
camp when you sneaked into the guys' room at night... haha... that was funny!! |
George Nusalim |
Wasn't that close with you at Ruse, but got closer since we
studied actuarial together!! Thanx for being so supportive to me
academically!! You are always so hard-working. I'm sure you'll have a very
successful career!! |
Jenny Yang |
Gotta say we were never that close... the most memorable thing
about you for me would be in La Perichole, where we have all these programmes
put at backstage for casts and crews to sign, you signed it in a very unique
way by leaving a kiss on every programme!! =) |
Adam Loy |
Probably the nicest guy I've come across at Ruse, always so
gentle and polite with people. Yet, somehow I think in my memory that I might
have seen you getting angry before!! |
Jing Ting Chan |
You are probably the first Ruse person I've ever met as soon as
I arrived in Australia!! Even in 1993... great to be singing along with you in
school choir!! Haven't seen/heard much about you lately though!! |
Jamie Chang |
Hello Jamie!! Haven't seen you for ages!! You're a nice bloke!!
Had fun being your notary partner at La Perichole!! We rocked, didn't we? |
Dylan Wanaguru |
I guess it was a pretty brief encounter between you and I, yet I
have this deep impression of you being really kind and generous, by lending
your house for the La Perichole casts to hold a post-musical party!! |
